Oldcastle Materials is an involved, engaged civic partner in the communities where we live and work. Our companies strive to safeguard the health, safety and environmental well-being of their neighborhoods, and our employees have close personal ties with their local schools, churches and businesses.

We are proud to support Habitat for Humanity International and local Habitat affiliates across the nation in their mission to provide affordable housing for all. In 2010, Oldcastle sponsored a Habitat home build in Atlanta and employees volunteered their time and effort over a seven-week period to help a young single mom. Oldcastle also donated concrete block, Sakrete®, pavers, countertops by Oldcastle Surfaces and bagged mulch.

Whether hosting high school students for educational tours or developing the next green building material, Oldcastle Materials proactively seeks ways to strengthen relationships and improve outcomes in our communities.
